Where You're Going & How You're Getting There
Pittsburgh isartsyrevitalizeda climbing town

What can you expect ?
- Pittsburgh is a mid-size city in the western foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Pennsylvania.
- The CWA Summit is held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, located in the center of downtown Pittsburgh. We recommend staying in at the Westin Pittsburgh which is conveniently attached to the convention center via a skywalk. and the CWA Summit is located near abundant amenities
- Pittsburgh has mild-to-warm temperatures in May, which should allow visitors to enjoy the very walkable city. While hotter days are possible, the average temperature in the city in May is mid-70 degrees with temperatures dropping to 50° at night. While the majority of the CWA Summit will be indoors, we will embrace the amazing rooftop views of downtown Pittsburgh and the rivers surrounding the city for some al fresco fun during the conference.
- The CWA is proud to announce that there are three local member climbing gyms in the Steel City. Visit their websites below to learn and keep an eye on the schedule for opportunities to check out the fledgling local climbing scene.
- There is a growing population of outdoor climbers in Pittsburgh. Access to urban crags will be added soon.
